Description

Livosil, a standardized extract of milk thistle seeds, equivalent to 140mg of Silymarin (Silybum Marianum), contains six flavonolignan isomers, of which Silibinin is the most prevalent and physiologically active form. It lipophilic nature facilitates high absorption from the digestive tract and clinical studies have shown no apparent adverse effects. Silymarin is used as a supportive treatment of chronic liver diseases, as well as for alcohol and drug-induced liver damages.
